Upgrade Boiler Controls

Job included the installation of Plant Master Controllers, and Circular Chart Recorders for all three boilers. The Feed water Pumps were replaced as well as the controllers. A front panel insert was provided for plant master controls. This insert was delivered with the PCC-III controller re-wired and factory tested. A separate sub plate with the terminals was also provided pre-wired to the controller. Installation of equipment was handled by subcontractors T-Bell and Concord that was supplied by B.J. Muirhead.

Eliminate Cuspidors

Work Consists of removal of cuspidor drain piping, installation of pipe plug at sanitary piping associated with each cuspidor drain and other work as indicated to abandon the cuspidors. Removal of sink drain as indicated, insulation of new Schedule 40 PVC drain piping of equal or greater diameter, connection of sink drain piping to the existing sanitary drain pipe, and other work as required. Collection of abandoned (removed) copper piping, transportation of abandoned copper piping from the site, and the proper disposal of abandoned copper piping. Verification of the proper operation of the sink drainage system and the institution of any required repairs.

Replace Dental Chair Drains

This is an extension of the Eliminate Cuspidor Job which includes the installation of Amalgam Separation System. This involves Fabrication of Wastewater Surge Tanks, support frames and Automatic Control Panels. Acquisition of Wastewater Transfer Pump Unit, electrical components and materials, piping, fittings, and all necessary materials. Installation of Wastewater Transfer Pump Unit, gravity drain piping from the area of the existing Vacuum Pumps to the Wastewater Transfer Pump Unit, and all equipment, components, and devices as required to install the drain piping from the general area of the discharge points of at the existing Vacuum Tank, to the Wastewater Transfer Pump Unit.

Replace A/C Chiller Building 124

Job consisted of removal of one Dunham-Bush 75 Ton Chiller. This included asbestos removal, air accumulator and refrigerant tanks, supports and accessories, head pressure controls, water circulating pump, air cooled condensers on the outdoor platform, all refrigerant piping between chiller and condenser, all power and control conduits, including wiring and supports between the chiller and condenser, main chill water pump supply and return shutoff valves, piping, pressure gages and accessories. A new 75 ton air cooled hermetic centrifugal compressor water chiller. Concrete pad was modified and all of the above stated items were replaced.

Starting at the main steam and condensate lines removal & disposal of all piping, fittings, insulation, and unit & fin tube heaters, and their associated controls. Install new heating system components to replace the heating system that was removed. New components include piping, fittings, insulation, controls, and unit & fin tube heaters. Provide operation and maintenance manuals and training to Watervliet Arsenal maintenance personnel on the new heating system. Provide as-built drawings.

Plumbing Renovate & Sprinkler Job

A complete remodel of 14 large Toilet Rooms with the replacement of approximately 75 fixtures, which included all new waste & vent and water piping. At the same time, all water and sewer piping was replaced within the building,   including tank realignment. Two brand new water services were installed in multiple buildings. All new sprinkler system installed in two staging areas within two schools.

Correct Sprinkler Deficiencies

Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to CORRECT SPRINKLER DEFICIENCIES at the VA Western New York Healthcare System in Buffalo, NY. Updating Sprinkler Systems coordinating five different sub-contractors to upgrade the sprinkler system after demolition of the old system. This includes demolition of the generator and underground storage tank and replacement of the fire pump. Coordination of this project consisted of extensive cooperation of the entire hospital staff due to the large nature of the project.
